PETER PERZHU
- 2-time world and US champion in American Smooth among professionals
- 5-time American champion in nine dances among professionals
Peter was born in Uralsk in Kazakhstan. He started dancing in kindergarten, so the teachers, noticing his talent, suggested that his mother take the six-year-old boy to dance lessons. Peter was lucky with talented teachers who took him on a journey of ballroom dancing.
When Peter turned 17, he moved to St. Petersburg, and two years later he began to seriously study the Latin American program.
In 2006, Peter moved to the USA and began teaching at the Arthur Murray studio. It was in the USA in 2008 that Peter discovered the wonderful world of American Smooth and fell in love with it irrevocably.

Peter was born in Uralsk, Kazakhstan. He was dancing all the time in kindergarten, so the teachers suggested his mom to take the 6 year old boy to dance classes. Peter was lucky to have amazing teachers and an exciting journey competing in Ballroom and Latin styles.
When Peter tuned 17 he moved to St. Petersburg Russia and two years later he began concentrating on Latin only.
In 2006 Peter moved to US and started teaching at Arthur Murray studio. He discovered American Smooth 2008 and fell in love with it straight away, following a successful cereer.
