Presentation of cooperation between SRDS and FTSARR on the development of Smus in Russia

Yesterday, September 5, 2020, at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace, as part of the Russian Dance Sports Championship, an official announcement was made about the joint cooperation of SRDS and the Federation of Dance Sports and Acrobatic Rock and Roll (FTSARR) to promote and develop the American Smooth dance direction.

A lot of productive work and new grandiose projects lie ahead. The plans for this joint activity are to make American Smooth attractive to both mass and elite sports. We are confident that in the near future, American Smooth dancers will shine on the largest dance floors around the world, demonstrating to the public their professionalism and the incredible beauty of this style of dance.

Back in 2018, the SRDS company, founded by Olga Krasnyanskaya and Eldar Dzhafarov, had just begun its journey of professional development of American Smooth in Russia and Europe. And just two years later, the planned joint work of SRDS and FTSARR opens up prospects for the inclusion of the American Smooth direction in the Russian Register of Sports as a dance sport discipline. We are proud of this important step in the development of American Smooth.
