"Night of Dancing Stars"

Last weekend, on September 25, the dance evening “Night of Dancing Stars” took place for the first time, organized by multiple world champion in Latin American dancing, Honored Master of Sports Alexei Silde and multiple world champion in European dancing, Honored Master of Sports Dmitry Zharkov.

A real constellation of talents, a magnificent audience and a warm, friendly atmosphere reigned in the hall that evening.

The host of the evening was the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, President of the Russian Dance Union - Stanislav Grigorievich Popov. The best Russian dance duets FTSARR and RTS Eldar Dzhafarov and Anna Sazhina, Dmitry Zharkov and Olga Kulikova, Pavel Zvychayny and Polina Teleshova, Anton Karpov and Daria Paley, Kirill Belorukov and Valeria Aidaeva presented their performances and magnificent show numbers to the audience.

The entire evening, the performances of the participating couples were accompanied by a pop symphony orchestra led by Boris Myagkov.

The signature event of the “Night of Dancing Stars” evening was the friendly American Smooth Team Match. For the first time during the tournament, SRDS presented the Smooth discipline in a similar format, which was especially warmly received by the audience.

An important event of the evening for the SRDS company and couples participating in the Smooth movement was the presentation of the prize fund to the best couples in Russia in the Smooth discipline according to the SRDS rating. Let us remind you that participants who are members of SRDS and compete in the Smooth direction at tournaments under the auspices of SRDS, based on the results of the rating, are awarded a prize fund that was established by Olga Krasnyanskaya and Eldar Dzhafarov, co-founders of the SRDS company.
