AMERICAN SMOOTH CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE WINTER STAR TOURNAMENT

The Pro-Am competition “Winter Star 2020”, which traditionally takes place in winter in Moscow at the hospitable Holiday Inn Sokolniki, has successfully completed.

Couples of different age categories representing American Smooth took to the floor.

The guests of the evening were delighted by the world champions in the show Eldar Dzhafarov and Anna Sazhina, representing Azerbaijan, and Denis Tagintsev and Ekaterina Krysanova, representing Russia, with their famous show number “Artist”.

As part of the tournament, the first Russian SRDS American Smooth Championship among juveniles and juniors took place. Immediately after the completion of the DVIDA and SRDS project - recording educational materials on children's smoothies, it was a special pleasure to watch the performances of the younger generation of American Smooth dancers.

This year, the Winter Star competition also warmly welcomed the participants of the SRDS American Smooth Championship among adult professional couples. This event truly adorned the “Winter Star”, because magnificent couples who professionally dance American smoothie and are actively developing in this direction presented their dance on the floor. The winners' cup was taken by Alexey Polovnikov and Olga Shcherbina.

The judges especially noted how rapidly the level of performance is growing, which means that even more exciting and spectacular SRDS tournaments are ahead of us. See you on the floor!
