The first presentation tournament of FTSARR and SRDS for American Smooth at the Russian traditional tournament

On December 6, the first ever FTSAPP presentation tournament for American Smooth in the Children 1 and Children 2 categories together with the SRDS company took place in Yekaterinburg.

XIII UMMC Cup in Dance Sports "Copper Capital Cup". Touching performance of dances, a decent level of preparation and an incredible desire to develop in this style - this is what both the audience and the judges of the tournament noted.

The winners of the first American Smooth presentation tournament were Timofey Antonov and Alexandra Zernina.

That evening, the American Smooth style was presented and the rising champions were supported by three wonderful pairs of professionals: Vitaly Matusyak and Anastasia Kryukova, Alexey Polovnikov and Olga Shcherbina, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Elena Mitina. The couples demonstrated first-class American Smooth dancing at a professional level, inspiring the young participants to future victories. It is worth noting that professional couples presented all four Smooth dances to the music that was played at the presentation of the children's project “Kids Smooth” at TheJunior Dance Blackpool Festival, which allowed both participants and spectators to plunge into a little nostalgia and added a special mood to the couples’ performance.

 

 

The spectacular performance of professional couples is the first successful step in the development of American Smooth in the Federation of Dance Sports and Acrobatic Rock and Roll. We are confident that in the future there will be many wonderful tournaments under the auspices of FTSARR and SRDS, and our country will find its champions in this style, who will represent Russia on the world stage.
