UK Open Dance Festival 2025

From January 21 to 26, 2025, one of the most prestigious dance tournaments, the UK Open Dance Festival, took place in England.

Russian triumph in UK Pro American Smooth
For the second time in a row, the winners in the UK Pro American Smooth category were representatives of Russia - Alexey Polovnikov and Olga Shcherbina. We congratulate this talented couple on their outstanding achievement and are proud of the success of Russia and SRDS on the international stage!

UK Pro American Smooth Final Results:

1st place - Alexey Polovnikov and Olga Shcherbina (Russia)
2nd place - Egor Novikov and Tatyana Novikova (USA)
3rd place - Oleg Kharlamov and Olga Kudryavtseva (Russia)
4th place - Chan Dong and Adele Dong (Great Britain)
5th place - Vitaly Matusyak and Irina Tyamkina (Russia)
6th place - Vladimir Fedorov and Albina Chunosova (Russia)

In the semi-finals, Russian duets Ilya Zaitsev and Anastasia Zaitseva, as well as Yuri Lioli and Oksana Lioli took 8th and 9th places respectively, adequately representing the country among 14 participants in the category. We thank all the wonderful dancers who graced the tournament with their skills!

SRDS, led by Olga Krasnyanskaya and Eldar Dzhafarov, expresses sincere gratitude to the organizers of the United Kingdom Open Dance Festival 2025 - Robin Short and Christopher Short for their fruitful cooperation in the development and popularization of the Smooth direction in the world!
